This little window here requires flash. It's a cool slide shot application and allows me to put all the pics from a page on Zenfolio here and does not take up so
much space so if you don't have Flash, it's just a blank space. If you go to Youtube, you need Flash there too. The place to get flash installed is.....Adobe Flash
My newest piece of art is completed. It's a one off image hand drawn from a photo I took In Akutan Alaska in May. Only the original is

My name is Ricky and this is my website, showing some of my art. I am past president of the Frank Cockrell Art Association in
Fisher County, and past vice-president of the Wichita Falls Art Association. I am an artist and photographer. I teach drawing and
painting. I subscribe to the Giacometti drawing technique and learned to draw when I was a young man by copying comic book artists of
the sixties. My favorite artist of all time would be Jim Steranko. Others would be Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, Simon Bisley, Gene Colan,
Paul Gulacy and many others. I like to draw more than anything as far as art goes and I don't blend. If it's in pencil, I use the cross hatching
technique. If you can master cross hatching in pencil, you don't need to blend. I use cross hatching and stipple when doing pen and ink.
There are many pages on this site. One of the most visited is the Basic Drawing lesson page. It basically goes over what you will need to
learn and do to draw like me. Drawing is much more in the mind than in any hand skill. You have to learn to see things as they are. Seeing
is the most important thing in drawing. So read the page carefully. If you need help, email me and I'll do what I can

is call Zenfolio. I've been using their services for three years now. Forty dollars a year for unlimited
photo storage and hosting. I have over 27Gb of images there now. They provide the code for embedding your
images at other parts of the web and have recently started providing slideshow HTML code with different
