New pictures from the Edgewood Heritage Festival 2011 are on the Edgewood Festival page. Taken with Sony SLT-A77 and Tamron 18-250 lens. The second and third boxes down are from the A77.
I reduced the images down with FastStone Image Resizer to a more manageable size since they were 14 to 18Mb in size straight from the cam.
The top box is from last year with the A33 and 18-55 kit lens.

Akutan Eagle by Ricky Niell
Eagle in Akutan Alaska. The full resolution image is available on my Zenfolio site. this one is 800x600.
My name is Ricky and this is my website, showing some of my art. I am past president of the Frank Cockrell Art Association in
Fisher County, and past vice-president of the Wichita Falls Art Association. I am an artist and photographer. I teach drawing and
painting. I subscribe to the Giacometti drawing technique and learned to draw when I was a young man by copying comic book artists of
the sixties. My favorite artist of all time is Jim Steranko. Others would be Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, Simon Bisley, Gene Colan, Paul Gulacy
and many others. I like to draw using cross hatching.
The most visited page on this site is the Basic Drawing lesson page. It basically goes over what you will need to learn and do to draw like
me. Drawing is in the mind. You have to learn to see things as they are. Seeing is the most important thing in drawing. Practice is another
key to drawing. If you need help, email me and I'll do what I can to help. I can be reached at.........
